New Beckenham
There are a small number of parliamentary train services operating at odd times of the day over very little used lines.
These services keep small sections of track open and avoid train operators/ network rail paying large sums of money to have these sections of track closed. Due to acts of parliament the section of line requires a train of some sort to run over it – that being an empty train, limited train service or freight train.
