East London Transit Routes

There are three East London Transit routes which carry the 'EL' prefix.

East London Transit is a part-segregated bus rapid transit scheme, which serves Barking Town Centre.

Buses, shelters and bus stops carry special branding to make them more attractive to passengers.

These routes were introduced following the mass housing development in the Barking and Ilford areas.

The routes are as follows:

Route EL1

Barking Riverside to Ilford Hill

Route EL2

Becontree Heath to Dagenham Dock

Route EL3

Barking Riverside to Little Heath
